Small groups are the close up magicians favorite audience. They love the crowds to gather around them so it is easier to interact with them during their tricks of the trade.

Items from any home are what this clever fellow uses in his acts such as coins, cards and bandannas.

Tricks of these magicians work as you watch or even as you are asked to interact and get involved in these tricks. Having participation from the crowds is the biggest part of close up magic. All performances are different as each and every person who interacts with these tricks are different. It's never boring.

Many items this tricks include are balls of foam, strings, metal rings and more. You will see them and then in a flick of a wrist they are gone. They may crack or shatter and then magically reappear as they were before breaking in your own hands. Objects are often made to levitate and move about as you watch in astonishment.

The differences between the regular magician and a close up are that the close up always presents their magic in smaller crowds of people and involve as much of the audience in them as possible. They can do performances that have added humor to them or some that have an air of the mysterious to them. It all depends on the creation of tricks they have worked up for the specific performances at hand.

Close up magic is a big hit at children's celebrations. The magician lets the children help out and hold objects as his magic takes hold of them.

Children can learn this magic simply by getting books from the local library or asking you to buy them the DVD"s on-line. The supplies are not that expensive either so they can be own their way to performing themselves in no time at all. They could even start to entertain at birthday parties or senior centers.

Close up magicians are very creative when planning their performances. They take the time to bring new tricks into the fold and even put a different spin on older ones. They really make each performance their own. That's why it is always a thrill to watch them in action.

Many clubs, social events and parties hire these magicians to entertain their guests. The guests love to get involved and can't wait to see more. Popularity with these magicians are growing.

Close up magicians are sometimes called walk about magicians due to their ability to wander through the crowds and interacting with different people within those crowds.

Entertainment involving a close up magician is a sure bet to add fun and excitement to any event. You can even show off a few of your new tricks to friend's and family as well.
